    We were traveling through and found this quaint and very special place. Super good food with great service. This isn't your black tie place to dine, but who cares!  You're in Ridgway, Colorado!!  You'll not regret eating here...Promise!  Tis a nice Costa Rica Surprise!

    I don't know where the Costa Rica part came from whether the owner's relatives are Costa Rican or they went to Costa Rica and enjoyed the food so much that they decided to share it so I won't comment on that.

    What I will say is a few things:

    - The ceviche was amazing, tasted very fresh, not too salty and just enough lime.
    - The Gallo Pinto was terrible. I get it they give the Lizano on the side in case people don't like it but this was dry, super salty but otherwise bland.
    - The chicken tacos were just okay, there were some nice flavors on the chicken but again a little heavy handed on the salt.

    As a Costa Rican myself I'm not impressed at all and I'm concerned that this food is not depicting accurately the authentic flavors.

    Personally I have been to Costa Rica, the food was fresh and authentic just like what I enjoyed during my travel to Costa Rica. The owner was great he was our server as well which is well appreciated, Great customer service and friendly. Highly recommended very fresh food! I actually bought a sauce that is homemade by the owner.

    Holy deliciousness!
    Bem sabor!
    Something different and authentic in the mountains.
    We stopped in need freshness and we found it.
    We got the. Small ceviche ( which we could have polished if the large it was so good).
    And we followed with fish taco plate and the tico taco pork plate - both were divine.
    If Back in the area we would definitely stop by again.

    Nice surprise going home from Telluride.  All hand made food. Very authentic. The money effort he didn't put into decorations went into the food.
